LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

One of the most glamorous girls of music, Fergie, is joining the glamorous ladies of New York City for the “Sex and the City: The Movie” soundtrack.

Fergie is adding her trademark funk to the compilation with “Labels or Love,” a bouncy pop song that uses the television show’s classic theme music in its beginning and end.

“I grew up watching ‘Sex and the City’ and I know a lot of my girlfriends did as well,” Fergie told People. “We felt like these characters were our friends, so to be a part of this project has been amazing.”

The First Lady of The Black Eyed Peas isn’t the only musical diva to grace the “Sex” soundtrack. Oscar winner and “Idol” alum, Jennifer Hudson, who stars as Carrie Bradshaw’s assistant, sings, “All Dressed in Love,” written by MC Jack Splash and Gnarls Barkley’s Cee-Lo Green.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, “Sex and the City: The Movie” hits theaters May 30.
