Fiance Gives Jessica Simpson $15,000 Bag For Birthday

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption Jessica Simpson steps out at the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood party held at Eden in Hollywood, Calif. on April 26, 2011 Jessica Simpson received a whopping gift from her fiance, Eric Johnson, for her birthday – a bag worth as much as $15,000.

“Eric made my birthday!!! I have never been more surprised in my life!” Jessica wrote, linking to a photo of herself with an orange Hermes Birkin bag, which Britain’s Daily Mail reported could cost around $15,000.

“Jackie O who?” she added, as the photo showed the singer kissing the purse, which was perched atop a giant orange box. Click HERE to see the photo.

Jessica turned 31-years-old on Sunday and she Tweeted that the day was full of well wishes from her loved ones.

“It is only 1pm and i think i have pretty much heard from everyone in my life!! That is a birthday record!! Huge smile on my face!” she wrote.

The singer added that it was a blessing to just be alive.

“Life is such a gift. Thank you to all of my family, friends, and fans for all of your birthday wishes and unconditional love. I’m so HAPPY!” she Tweeted.
