“King of the Hill” is over the hill at Fox, which is canceling the long-running animated comedy.
Final episodes of the half-hour series, now in its 13th year, likely will air during the 2009-10 season, Fox said Friday. The network recently ordered 13 new episodes, and animated series have a long production schedule.

UPDATED (3:11 PM PST) - County USC rep Adelaida de la Cerda now says that Gale is in critical, but stable condition — a slight improvement

“Desperate Housewives” actor Gale Harold was in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday, fracturing his shoulder in the process.
Adelaida de la Cerda, a spokeswoman for USC Medical Center, where Gale was taken, tells Access Hollywood that Gale is in critical condition and awaiting further tests.
“We can confirm that Gale Harold was in a motorcycle accident yesterday Oct 14,” the actor’s publicist told Access.
“He has fractured his shoulder and is under observation to assess any possible further injuries. Everyone is hopeful for a full recovery. No one else ws (sic) injured in the accident.”

The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF) and the Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF) unite to present the second annual Stand Up for Heroes: A Benefit for the Bob Woodruff Foundation at Town Hall in New York City at 8 PM on November 5.
Regis Philbin will host Stand Up for Heroes, which will feature star performances by Ricky Gervais, John Pinette, Bruce Springsteen, and Patti Scialfa. Access Hollywood has learned that the MTV reality star will make a special appearance on an all-new episode of FOX’s MADtv Saturday, September 20.
The brunette will appear in the sketch “Audrina Brings the Drama.” In the sketch, Audrina visits the set of MADtv, causing the entire cast to erupt in fighting and conflict.
