LOS ANGELES, Calif.

The crowd was jumping and singing along (and so was I) as The White Tie Affair hit the stage at Hollywood’s club Avalon last weekend.

These guys from Chicago have been touring the country ever since their debut album was released in 2008. They spent part of the year opening for Lady Gaga and she certainly has taught them a few things about performance.

The scene in Wednesday’s episode of the hit Fox series “Glee,” which regularly celebrates diversity and the underdog, is yet another uplifting moment — except to those in the entertainment industry with disabilities and their advocates.

‘Sherlock Holmes’ Steps In As New ‘Family Guy’ Special Sponsor

Fox network says an upcoming movie has stepped in for Microsoft to sponsor next Sunday’s “Family Guy” special.

The upcoming Warner Bros. feature “Sherlock Holmes” will be the sole sponsor of “Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex’s Almost Live Comedy Show.” A sneak preview from the December release, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, will air during the broadcast.
