“Saturday Night Live” funnyman Fred Armisen and “Mad Men” star Elisabeth Moss each have a new role — husband and wife.
The couple tied the knot on Sunday at The Foundry in Long Island City, New York, a rep for Moss confirmed to Access Hollywood.

“Saturday Night Live” is known for its surprise celebrity guests, but on Saturday, the NBC late night show had a big night even by its own standards.
Lady Gaga, the show’s musical guest, was joined in a comedy sketch by one of her idols – Madonna. The two singers – dressed in revealing lingerie-like outfits – fought over who was the bigger star before being separated by Keenan Thompson during an MTV-style “Deep Dish House” segment.

Sarah Palin may not be around as a font of comic material this year, but Seth Meyers of “Saturday Night Live” doubts he’ll be starved for things to poke fun at.
The “SNL” season begins this week with the first of three NBC’s “Weekend Update Thursday” specials this fall. For the first two, Meyers will be joined by “SNL” alum Amy Poehler as his co-anchor.

Hawaii’s lieutenant governor and some in the state’s tourism industry aren’t laughing over a “Saturday Night Live” skit they fear could deter people from visiting the islands.
The four-minute skit, an exaggerated portrayal of how annoying and frustrating it can be to deal with tourists, depicts a pair of disgruntled locals who sing and dance for mainland visitors.

Just one week after making her “Saturday Night Live” return, following a six-week hiatus to give birth to her first child, Amy Poehler signed off for good on this weekend’s “SNL.”
Poehler, who has been with the show since 2006, offered a heartfelt goodbye at the end of “Weekend Update,” alongside co-anchor Seth Meyers.
