A recent star of ABC’s “Nashville” has joined the cast of “Game of Thrones” Season 4.
Michiel Huisman, who played Liam McGuinnis on “Nashville,” will appear in the HBO fantasy series’ fourth season, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
No details were available about Michiel’s character or where he’ll be shooting “Thrones.”
“1 more week w/ Michiel Huisman getting him ready to kick ass on Game of Thrones. Proud of this guy’s dedication; huge transformation from his Treme days.#MichielHuisman #GameOfThrones #Treme#WorldWarZ #HBO #FitnessMeetsFilm,” he wrote to accompany the pic.
Michiel most recently starred as Liam, a record producer who became romantically involved with Connie Britton’s Rayna James on “Nashville.” The two had a romantic connection, but she skipped out on their planned international lover’s trip to reconnect with her old flame Deacon (Charles Esten).
“Game of Thrones” returns to HBO in 2014.
