The Batman casting rumors continue – with Megan Fox.

The “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” star, who has been named in a number of recent casting rumors, including as the next Bond girl, is the latest actress to be mentioned as Catwoman in the sequel to 2008’s top-grossing “The Dark Knight,” according to UK tabloid The Sun.

Big news from Comic-Con – two of the highest-grossing franchises in movie history on their way back to the big screen.

The sequel to 2008’s blockbuster “The Dark Night” will begin production in 2010, Gary Oldman, who plays Commissioner Gordon, said at a panel for his latest film, “The Book Of Eli” – the first news of the superhero sequel.

Jim Carrey has multiple personalities in his next movie.

Carrey and director Robert Zemeckis brought a bit of holiday cheer to the Cannes Film Festival on Monday with a sneak peak of “Disney’s A Christmas Carol,” a new slant on the Charles Dickens classic in which the actor plays skinflint Ebenezer Scrooge and several other characters.

The family of the late Heath Ledger arrived in Los Angeles on Wednesday, four days before the Academy Awards on Sunday.

According to The Australian newspaper, Heath’s parents – Kim and Sally, and his sister, Kate — were among the family members who landed at LAX and spoke with reporters.

The family will be attending the Oscars this weekend.

Heath Ledger made it two for two on Sunday night, when the late actor won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor at the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Following up on his win at the Golden Globes earlier this month, Ledger won the SAG award once again for his role as The Joker in “The Dark Knight.”

After a standing ovation when Ledger was announced as the winner, the actor’s “Dark Knight” co-star, Gary Oldman, accepted the award on his behalf.
