Gay Actor Alan Cumming Sounds Off On Isaiah Washington’s ‘Rehab’

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Alan Cumming agrees that Isaiah Washington needed to be told that using an anti-gay slur is not acceptable — but rehab? Cumming’s not sure about that.

He has his doubts about how much good homophobia rehab has done Isaiah Washington. He says he can’t imagine what the rehab is for using that slur.

He says it’ll be interesting to see how Washington’s fans and his `Grey’s Anatomy’ co-stars treat him now.
By the way, Cumming is a newlywed. He and his boyfriend had a civil ceremony cementing their relationship in England.
His new movie “Gray Matters” opens in limited release on February 23rd.
