Gene Simmons & Longtime Girlfriend Engaged

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Caption Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed pose at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in LAGene Simmons and his longtime girlfriend, actress Shannon Tweed, are engaged.

Publicist Dawn Miller said in an email Friday that she is “happy to confirm that Gene and Shannon will be getting married in the near future.”

The new season of the reality show “Gene Simmons Family Jewels” premieres Oct. 4 on the A&E network. The 62-year-old Kiss bassist and the 54-year-old Tweed have two children.
