Today’s Glam Slam feature: Lady Antebellum’s performance of the Fleetwood Mac classic “Rhiannon” with the legendary Stevie Nicks at the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards was the highlight of the night for me.
And Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum looked absolutely radiant at the show rocking a sexy, metallic eye, luminous skin and neutral lip.
Celebrity makeup artist Terri Apanasewicz shares how she created Hillary’s show-stopping beauty look.
“I prepped Hillary’s skin with Chanel Hydra Beauty Serum and applied a brightening primer under the eye area,” Terri says.
“Next, I applied a stick foundation with a brush all over the face and then used Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer to spot conceal. I set the makeup in place with a dusting of loose translucent powder.
With a brush, I applied crème blush in a bright, petal pink on the apples of the cheeks for a natural flush.
I groomed and defined the brows with Diorshow Brow Styler in Universal Brown. On the eyelids I applied crème metallic shadow and layered it with powder shades from Sonia Kashuk’s Eye Couture in Eye on Neutral Shimmer for staying power.
I applied MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack as close to the top lash line as possible and lined the top and bottom waterline with a longwear twist-up pencil liner.
For added drama, I applied false lashes and a coat of Lancome mascara.
I finished the look with Sonia Kashuk Ultra Luxe Lip Gloss in Magical Mulberry for a pretty, polished lip.”
