Dior celebrity make-up artist Ricky Wilson and red carpet hair-stylist Adir show you how to get Lupita Nyong’o’s flawless make-up and Kerry Washington’s award-worthy hair on Access Hollywood Live. What red carpet trends did they love from this year’s Academy Awards?

at the oscars next he. Lupita right there could do no wrong this award show season. Capping it off with Oscar win this weekend. How did she create the flawless make up to go with the awesome gown. Make up artist Ricky Wilson is here to show us that and red carpet hair stylist will show us how to get the flawless Oscar hair. I saw Jennifer garner on the carpet I knew it was your hair. Thank you. How did you get the look. Well it's all about long hair this season. We saw all these girls wearing their hair down shiney gorgeous effortless so if you have long hair, wear it down. But it was so great. It wasn't over done. It was just so nice. That's what is really nice about the carpet this year. Everything felt really effortless. Really easy. And it just, it just, if you had that long hair you really wanted to wear it down. Up do were not in this season. So let me show you how I did Jen garner very easy. So you take a volumeizeer. Spray it all over the roots. You get that beautiful volume right where you want it. You remyou want it. You remember that. I told you that last night. So you put it in the root. Dry the hair put in the curl. The secret is when you curl the hair you pin it back and let it relax while you are doing your make up. Okay so for like how long 30 minutes. 30 minutes. It really, really cools down. You take it down. And very easy you are going to take amaze on Pierson brush. You are going to comb it down and it's going to swoop perfectly right over the eye. And you are going to spray it with a little bit of sorbet super fine and keep it in place now you want it now you want it to look effortless. Want it to swoop down and not be overly shellack. Look. That was the key right there. It right there. It fell so nicely. So not too over done. Not too much stuff. Not too over done and the secret is not using too much product. So it's about keeping it effortless and letting the true health of your hair come through. Okay so that was Jennifer garner now Kerry Washington. Yes. How did we get her look. She was glowing. She was glowing. It was beautiful. It opened up her face. And the nice thing is if you have a look that you want diversify with your long hair, all you want to do is you want to pull the front section back comb the section so you get a little bit of lift. Wait right there there's the key. If you do in the back comb you won't get the beautiful lift. Correct. Take your comb. Comb it back and you are going to get the great lift and you want to just push it back. Pull the sides completely back. Oh, Twisting them. So tighter here but keep the lift. Correct. So you want the lift you want to pull that back and then you are going to take 2 bobby pins. I heard this trick. You crisscross. You crisscross the bobby pin. I know my hair people. You do know your hair. Look how nice that is. Really simple keeping the sides really clean. Having that beautiful height right in the front. And you can go from Jennifer garner. To Kerry Washington in. No time. She's gorgeous. Good job. Ricky with lieu Pete good to see you by the way. It was all about bold with her. Most of the time you see the bigger lip and bold lip and she pulled it off. How. She rocked it. I really think it's important to notice that when you are going bold it's like just go for it. You know we are so used to seeing bold eye light lip vice versa what she did this season was amazing. She work with the colors she was wearing. Contrast on her skin tone is beautiful. Like if you have a dark chocolate skin tone what else is better than just to add something really vibrant? Okay. So what we did with the look is we actually went in with violent. Violent in my -- violet is most beautiful color on dark skin. It's gone. We took a little bit of vye let eye shadow in the cease of the eye. Key is don't take this up too high with violet. It starts to look clown like and weird. Stay on the lid with the bold color. Okay. Yes then the other thing don't do with the look is to use something that is too light underneath the eyebrow because then that takes into a stripper make up. It's not cool. What about the lip. The lip is a purple. It's so gorgeous on the mouth and this cloris by far my favorite purple because it's not too blue and called mysterious move and it's gorgeous gorgeous kind of balmy full coverage lip stichblingt I love. That good job. You are Lupita bold and you are Lupita Oscar look. Tell me how we get this look. This look is really all about the skin and she actually showed up at the at the oscars with not as much make up as we had seen her all season and this is all about glowing skin, soft, but taking neutral into something that is not necessarily nothingnecessarily nothing. You know.so one thing I want to point out is neutral and nude doesn't mean nothing. So the blush that I actually use for this look is a bright Orange and a lot of women would be afraid of that. And what I do is I just take some of the blush and just kind of work it on the apple of the cheek and you get this beautiful fresh look. Now let's say the blush goes on and a little bit toogoes on and a little bit too, the brush goes on and a little bit too strong. What you can do is take a primer. Here's our music. Like the oscars are wrapping us up better go quick. Dream skin my favorite and you can just take that with your foundation brush to tone down the blush without taking it off. Ladies you look great we'll be right back with Oscar photo bomb after these messages from
