BURBANK, Calif. -- Jennifer Aniston visits ‘The Daily Show With Jon Stewart’ on August 19, 2010, in NYC.Caption Jennifer Aniston visits ‘The Daily Show With Jon Stewart’ on August 19, 2010, in NYC.I wrote a Glam Slam article on Tuesday about Jennifer Aniston and her style at the premiere of her film “The Switch.” The article received triple the normal amount of web “traffic” that most Glam Slam articles get and was the second most trafficked story of the day on AccessHollywood.com (After the naked “True Blood” stars on the cover Rolling Stone. Hey - what can I say? Vampires are untouchable!).

Jeremy Blacklow, Managing Editor of AccessHollywood.com, attributes the Glam Slam surge directly to Aniston, who he says is, “So searched for right now — and she’s huge on our website overall.” I guess there’s a reason she’s also constantly in all the magazines — whether she has something to promote or not.

Bottom line. People like Jennifer Aniston. A lot.

“Project Runway” judge Nina Garcia says, “I think women can relate to her in many ways… her beauty, which is very wholesome, in her personal life, because we have all been there… I think we all relate to her and she can be every one’s best friend or sister or cousin.”

And therein lies the essence of Aniston. She’s the girl next door for whom we’re all rooting. She’s pretty, but not perfect. She’s funny and doesn’t take herself too seriously. She’s approachable, whereas stars like Victoria Beckham or Angelina Jolie seem beyond reach. While Jennifer Lopez and her extravagant designer wardrobe are glamorous, Jen’s off-duty uniform of a tank top and cargo pants is accessible to just about everybody.

No wonder there are so many members of the Jennifer Aniston Fan Club — and apparently, many of them work here at Access! Access staffer Akiva says, “She just always looks very comfortable/confident in her own skin. And she seems to really enjoy her life, despite all the drama.”

“I loved her fairy tale romance with Brad and mourned when they broke up!” says Sharon. “After the breakup, she seemed so relatable to me… it was like she was just another girl who’d gotten her heart broken, like the rest of us! She very much became a real person to me at that point.”

Jeneine, who has been a fan of Jen since her Rachel days on “Friends,” likes that the star’s “…beauty is attainable. It’s not so exotic or different that the average women cannot relate to it. She has those basic good features that come together nicely and she knows what to play up, her great hair, the killer legs.”

But Anthony, who could practically be the president of the Jennifer Aniston Fan Club, sums it up best. “She seems like she’d be fun to have a margarita with!”
