Glam Slam: Cannes Style Standouts...So Far
In today’s Glam Slam feature: Day 1 of the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival and Blake Lively steals the style show…again.
Wow. Wow. Wow. Can I get one more wow?
Blake is the face of Gucci Premiere fragrance, so naturally she wore the designer label (this comes hot on the heels of the blush Gucci gown she wore to the Met Gala, which also earned her rave reviews).
For Cannes, she chose a Gucci Premiere bordeaux silk chiffon gown with geometric neckline, open back fitted bodice and high side slit. She paired the gown with sexy heels and slicked back hair for the ultra-glamorous Opening Ceremony and the ‘Grace of Monaco’ premiere. Flawless.
Nicole Kidman – who stars in “Grace of Monaco”-- also looked elegant in a heavily embellished strapless Armani Prive gown, paired with Harry Winston diamond earrings and bracelet. Unfortunately, the reviews for the movie aren’t quite as stellar as her red carpet fashion.
The beautiful Zoe Saldana went for goddess glam in a white Victoria Beckham gown. The belted dress featured a pleated skirt and ruffle detailing on the top. Pretty!
I was pleasantly surprised by Kendall Jenner. I’m used to seeing more of her casual, California style, but she looked polished, sophisticated and all grown up for her first Cannes Festival. She went with classic Chanel and her black and white silk crepe dress is from the 2013/14 Cruise Collection. She finished off the look with a silver clutch and feminine black heels.
