Glam Slam: Denise Richards' Skincare Secret!

She’s 42 and given birth to two kids (plus adopted a daughter), but Denise Richards looks as youthful as ever!

“The best thing for all of us, besides a great skincare line, is sleep and water – it’s very basic,” the actress exclaimed to Glam Slam.

So, it’s no surprise the luxury skincare line OROGOLD tapped her to be the face of their brand. Glam Slam met up with the bubby actress at the opening of OROGOLD’s new flagship store here in NYC and she happily chatted all about her anti-aging secrets; which are pretty simple.

“People keep telling me I need to try the fish-eating pedicure and I can’t do it. I’m not that adventurous and I’m not going to try the blood facials. I like to keep it real and natural as much as I can.”

The mother of three, who is also busy with her ABC Family show “Twisted,” says she doesn’t have much time for pampering, so she appreciates a skincare line with results, adding, “I try to do a lot of stuff at home because I don’t have time. I used to go get a facial once a month, but now there are things I do at home – just like all busy moms.”

OROGOLD is infused with pure 24K gold, which reportedly helps the skin improve its firmness and reverse the effects of sun damage and aging. “I have been approached by other skincare lines. I won’t endorse anything that I won’t use. I think people will see through it and I can’t do that I’m too honest.”

Denise also credits her youthful look to a healthy lifestyle and diet that includes lots of olive oil and avocados. Besides her glowing skin, Glam Slam couldn’t but notice her super-toned biceps at the event. So, what her secret? “The biggest thing that’s made a difference is carrying my youngest daughter and her car seat, and her stroller and the wagon and all this stuff. It’s a workout and it’s worked out for me.”

Ah, the perks of being a busy hands-on mom!
