Glam Slam: Emmy Week — Get Emmy Worthy Arms!

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Whether you are hitting the Emmy red carpet or watching it from the comfort of your couch at home, who doesn’t want amazing arms, right?
Celebrity Trainer Derek DeGrazio, who has worked with Kim Kardashian, Mel B and Shenae Grimes, reveals how to get great arms, thanks to what Derek calls toned “glamour muscles!”
“Glamour muscles are those muscles that are showcased in that red carpet dress - arms, shoulders and back,” Derek says. “These are a few moves that are fairly basic on their own, but when put together, tighten up that tummy and glam up those glamour muscles. “
BICEP CURL 1. Stand feet shoulder width. Small bend in knees. Palms facing forward. 2. Inhale. Then exhale and curl the weights up about 75% of the way, forming a ‘V’ with your arms. Inhale weights down. 3. Repeat to fatigue for 60 seconds.
SHOULDER PRESS 1. Stand feet shoulder width. Small bend in knees. Arms at each side of shoulders with elbows under wrists. 2. Inhale. Then exhale weights up over the head and inhale back down to shoulder level. 3. Repeat to fatigue for 60 seconds.
BICEP/SHOULDER COMBO * When these 2 basic exercises transition to 1 exercise, while still working those arms, the emphasis shifts to tightening of the belly as your core becomes much more engaged. *
1. Stand feet shoulder width. Small bend in knees. Palms facing forward.
2. Inhale. Exhale, then curl the weights up to your chest and continue to press and twist the weights up overhead.
3. Inhale weights back down to starting position.
4. Repeat to fatigue for 60 seconds.
