Audrina Patridge danced to Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” on “Dancing with the Stars,” which was the perfect song for her… she’s the epitome of the California girl with her gorgeous makeup and bronzed skin. Hollywood Makeup Artist, Joanna Schlip, used Physicians Formula to create Audrina’s look.

“Always start with concealer first, then foundation, powder, blush, eyes and finish with the lips,” Joanna suggests. “Here’s how I created Audrina’s look…”

“Use Mineral Wear Corrective Cream Concealer to camouflage flaws, cover and brighten. I use the green shade to balance out redness, the natural light to conceal and the pink to highlight and illuminate.

Audrina’s eyes are key to this look. I used all the Physician’s Formula Shimmer Strips in green to enhance the color of her eyes. First, I line the eyes with Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Gel CreamLiner in green. I finish at the outer corner in an upwards, cat eye motion to really open up the eye area. Smudge it out for a smoky effect. I then go [over] the liner with a corresponding green shadow to lock on and intensify the color for long lasting wear (Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow, POP Collection in Pop Green Eyes). Finish off eyes with lush, full lashes. I saturate them with Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Mascara Duo in Green Eyes. First I use the black end to volumize and lengthen, then the green color for a dramatic effect.

For cheeks – smile to find your apples and apply Powder Palette Multi-Colored Blush in Blushing Rose for a fresh flush that accentuates cheekbones. It offers supple shimmer that draws attention to the area and enhances cheekbones.

Bronzing is key to evening out skin tone and enlivening the complexion. I apply Bronze Booster Glow-Boosting Pressed Bronzer all over the face to add a healthy glow and warm color to skin.

I finish up with a healthy dose of gloss to enhance the shape of lips. Plump Potion Lip Plumping Cocktail in Nude Potion instantly transforms lip’s appearance for a smoother, sexier effect. Add extra in the center of upper and lower lip to manipulate light, making lips look voluminous for the camera.”
