LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Who do YOU think was Best Dressed at the Golden Globes? Twenty-seven percent of you voted Kate Winslet and her elegant black gown as your number one pick on AccessHollywood.com.
“I love it. It’s really comfortable, which is a key element I think,” Kate Winslet said of her strapless silk satin Yves Saint Laurent.
Kate’s designer dress retails for about $7,700, but affordable dress company Faviana is creating a dead-on red carpet replica for the much more recession friendly price of $298.
As I wrote yesterday, I loved Eva Mendes’ look at the Globes. She was MY pick for best dressed. Her white taffeta Dior gown cost thousands! Faviana’s version is $338 and would look beautiful as a bridal gown.
“Liquid gold,” that’s my take on Jennifer Lopez’ super sexy plunging, draped Marchesa gown. Faviana is creating a cheap chic version in more wearable jersey fabric, which will retail for about $248.
“The dress is so powerful” is how Eva Longoria Parker described her sexy red Reem Acra gown to us on the red carpet.
We agree! The dress was designed especially for her and is priceless, but you can get Faviana’s similar style for about $238. The company is predicting that it will be a big seller for prom season.
Dresses will be available in sizes 0-22 and will be in stores in 4 to 6 weeks. For more on Red Carpet Replicas tune in to Access Hollywood tonight.
