“Gossip Girl” has practically single-handedly put the headband back on the style map.
It seems like every week Leighton Meester’s trend-setting Blair Waldorf wears a headband more beautiful and stylish than the week before.
New York designer Jennifer Behr is “GG’s” go-to-gal.
The show has used her elaborate designs in at least eight episodes and Natalie Portman, Lauren Conrad, Heidi Klum and Rachel Bilson have been spotted in Behr’s bands.
“Head bands are cute,” according to the always chic Bilson.
Nicole Richie is WAY into headbands and she and fellow style mavens Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and Sienna Miller all have one-of-a-kind headpieces by ban.do.
Los Angeles designers Jen Gotch and Jamie Coulter scour swap meets and estate sales for unique jewelry to pair with feathers and vintage flowers to create the custom head ornaments. The handcrafted pieces not only work for the red carpet, but also for weddings, special events… or, well, just because!

It’s headband heaven… featuring designs by Cara Couture, Susan Daniels, Jennifer Behr and Joomi NYC, which has also been featured on “Gossip Girl.” According to Rachel Bilson, headbands are so hip right now because they are an easy way to up the style ante on any outfit.
“I’m a big person who likes accessories to have a basic outfit and funk it up with accessories, so headbands are a really cute way to do that,” she added.
