LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

A fierce beauty product habit is the first luxury many people give up during uncertain economic times. But there are plenty of beauty bargains to be found at your local drug store.

EVERYONE loves a bargain… even a star! And while they might not be feeling the economic pinch quite like the rest of us, they have access to the best makeup artists and most expensive products and yet, even they still have their cheap faves.

TORI SPELLING: “I get the fancy stuff when I get to work on TV shows and movies and photo shoots. But daily, I wear the Maybelline that I get at the Walgreens down the street. Maybelline Great Lash Mascara: the green and pink wand. It’s the best one that there is, hands down.”

SANAA LATHAN: “I love Maybeline Great Lash. Love it. Live by it. I don’t know why. I’ll buy all the other mascaras at the department stores & this is the one that always works for me.”

KATE BECKINSALE: “I love Dove soap. I just like it, because it makes you feel all soft. I like how it smells, my husband likes it.”

CHRISTINA RICCI: “I swear by Oil of Olay. I don’t care what anyone says. And it’s cheap.”

DEBRA MESSING: “Aquaphor, you can get it at any drug store. It’s probably $10 and it’s the best lip balm in the world, and you can put it on your heels, you can put it anywhere. You can use it as a cuticle softener. Literally anything.”

MEL B: “Pantene shampoo and conditioner - very cheap, but great for the hair. Makes it shiny and soft!!”

ALISON SWEENEY: “I find Neutrogena to be a great drug store brand. They make a great lip-gloss that’s like in all these different colors and it’s totally cheap and easy and it feels really good on your lips.”
