Glam Slam: Makeup Mondays - Sultry Sienna
I am coveting Sienna Miller’s retro glam look at the Los Angeles premiere of her film “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra ”. She totally rocked the whole Veronica Lake/Old Hollywood vibe.
How can you get the same makeup look yourself… for less? COVERGIRL Celebrity Makeup Artist Molly Stern, who has worked with Leighton Meester, Ellen DeGeneres and Amy Adams, reveals how to recreate Sienna’s look for under $50.
Begin by prepping the skin with a spritz of Evian Water Spray before applying a tinted moisturizer like Sephora brand Tinted Moisturizer ($18) for a virtually perfect complexion.
To achieve a natural eye look like Sienna’s, apply COVERGIRL Exact Eyelights Eyeliner ($6.99) in Radiant Sapphire on the bottom lash line to define the eye then apply a few coats of black volumizing mascara like COVERGIRL LashBlast Mascara ($8.95) for red carpet worthy lashes with intense volume. When wearing a bold lip like Sienna’s, I recommend creating a natural eye look but making sure your eyes pop with long, bold lashes.
I’m loving Sienna’s bold lip look that brightens her entire face and looks Old Hollywood glam; before applying a deep lip color like Sienna’s, exfoliate your lips with warm water (using a sponge or washcloth) and then apply a long lasting lip color like COVERGIRL Outlast All-Day Lipcolor in Sparkling Wine. ($10.84) For an everyday pop of color that is more subtle, I love COVERGIRL Outlast Lipstains. ($7.29) They come in a variety of berry and red shades that provide a perfect flush of color for the lips. www.covergirl.com
When it comes to showing off her décolleté, we hear the actress’ secret weapon is Mama Mio’s “Boob Tube” firming bust & neck cream,” which helps lift sagging breasts. Originally made for moms-to-be and new moms (Jessica Alba is a fan), now stars like Sienna and Kirsten Dunst have discovered the cream, which has been called the “wonderbra in a jar.” www.mamamio.com
