LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

As we say ‘So Long’ to 2008 and ‘Hello!’ to 2009, we asked some stars what their STYLE resolutions are for the New Year.

HEIDI MONTAG: “Um, to shop less, maybe. I shop a little too much. Not less style, but less shopping.”

LINDSAY PRICE: “You know honestly, I’m streamlining my closet,” the “Lipstick Jungle” star tells us. “I’m actually getting rid of things that I haven’t worn in the last couple of months or so and giving it to people that really need it. So that’s my resolve. You actually feel more stylish if you just have just a few choice things to choose from.”

LAUREN CONRAD: “I don’t know, I think I’m always looking to improve. That’s a good question.”

ANNALYNNE MCCORD: “Style resolutions. Um, I want to be able to rock the boots as long as possible, so like can we keep the boots in the Spring? Can we some how do that?” the “90210” star asks.

AUDRINA PATRIDGE: “You know, I do kinda want to change my style a little bit. I don’t know how or what yet, but definitely next year, something will be different.”

GABRIELLE UNION: “Oooh, style resolution. Uh, you know what? Stop caring about what’s in, what’s out, who wore it best. I’ve lived in fear of the not getting the check mark, so in 2009, I don’t care if like 8 people have worn it, I’m going for it. I’m going for it. Whatever.”

STACEY KEIBLER: “My goal for 2009 is to learn more about fashion in general. I just bought loads of fashion books and I hope to learn about designers and how they have influenced the world of fashion.”

STACY LONDON: “My style resolution is to FIT in my clothes, spend more on fewer items, and throw away all the winter boots that give me blisters!” the “What Not To Wear” star reveals.

My own style resolutions this year is:

SHOP MY CLOSET: There has never been a better time to rediscover all the clothes you have that have been sitting in the back of your closet.

LOOK CHIC FOR LESS: There is absolutely no reason to be spending a lot of money on clothes with the economy the way it is. And thanks to so many cheap chic stores now, it’s easier than ever to look great on a budget.

And lastly - to fit back into my favorite pair of J Brand jeans and black Genetic Denim jeans after I give birth in January. No pressure, I am going to try to lose the weight in a reasonable and safe amount of time, but I miss those jeans!
