LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
“Fashion has been my life for the past 15 years, but jewelry has been a passion since childhood.”
And now model and actress Molly Sims has taken her longtime passion to the next level with her own line of vintage-inspired costume jewelry. “Grayce by Molly Sims, " a collection of 24 pieces including chic cuffs, bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings, launches today on HSN. All of the pieces are under $100.
Molly has been collecting vintage jewelry for over 30 years, which is just one source of inspiration for her.
“Everything – life, art, photography, travel, family, places, things – it all goes into my creative process.”
For today’s FRIDAY FIVE Molly shares her tips for accessorizing with jewelry.
1. When I get dressed, I always start with my jewelry and build the rest of my outfit around it.
2. It’s all about layering.
3. Don’t be afraid to mix your metals, textures, colors – it makes it your own. I love cool silver and hematite or warm rose gold and gold worn together – it has so much dimension.
4. Statement pieces make an outfit – don’t be afraid to take chances with one big, bold piece.
5. If you fall in love with a piece of jewelry – buy two – one for you and one for your best friend!
