Winter? What Winter? Not in So Cal! I was wearing short sleeves and piling on the sunblock this weekend. While out and about, people were soaking up the sun wearing tank tops, summer dresses and even shorts. While we don’t get much in the way of cold weather out here in general, it seems like this year has been even warmer than ever.

With our moderate climate, I don’t usually go too crazy buying cold weather clothes, but even the stuff I did get have just been gathering dust in my closet.

So now I am having major buyer’s remorse! I purchased a few sweaters that I’ve barely touched. I bought my daughter sweaters, scarves, gloves and hats for our trip back east for the holidays where it’s normally cold, but it was even so warm there, that she didn’t wear one of them. It’s not like she will be able to wear them next year—she will have outgrown them! I feel like it’s such a waste of money. That’s the downside.

The bright side? We’re having beautiful weather, while other parts of the country and the world aren’t so lucky. We don’t HAVE to bundle up and we’re looking at months and months of gorgeous sunny weather. So here’s to spring and summer clothes! Those we get plenty of chances to wear.
