Chris Colfer and Darren Criss’ characters finally locked lips this week on “Glee,” but how do the actors rate each other’s kissing skills?

“I was pleasantly surprised,” Chris told Access Hollywood as Thursday’s PaleyFest 2011 “Glee” event. “I would have to say, I would give him a 10, but I would give myself a 12.”

“Thanks Chris! Gee shucks, golly whiz! Tell other people I’ve kissed that!” Darren said when Access told him about his impressive score. “He’s [a 12], yeah. He doesn’t go by numbers, he gets hieroglyphics!”

Chris said he was happy to see Kurt and Blaine take their relationship to the next level.

“That relationship has just been waiting to happen, lingering in everybody’s mind, so I’m just glad it’s over with,” the Golden Globe winner said.

“It was a really special day, I hope that what was felt in that room was felt by the audience,” Darren told Access.

Does Kurt and Blaine’s kiss signal a relationship for the two Warblers?

“In this day and age, a kiss doesn’t always necessarily equal a relationship,” Darren continued. “We’re not into labels, but let’s just say that that kiss meant something.”
