LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Will Schuester will soon face competition at William McKinley High when Ricky Martin guest stars on “Glee” as a sexy Spanish teacher, and Kevin McHale, who plays Artie Abrams on the hit show, says the Bon-Bon shakin’ star is sure to stir things up.
“Schuester’s a Spanish teacher too,” Kevin told Access Hollywood, hinting at a possible faceoff between Ricky and Matthew Morrison’s “Glee” character, at Trevor Project’s 2011 Trevor Live event in Los Angeles on Sunday. “Drama!”
Though the cast is not free to reveal much about Ricky’s upcoming visit, Kevin was happy to share his excitement over the show’s upcoming Christmas episode.
“[It is] really cool. It’s kind of an ode to a legendary Christmas special, if you will,” he told Access. “And there are special guest stars like Chewbacca – the real Chewbacca – and I got to do a scene with him! It was really weird.”
The Wookie’s presence on set created a stir on set as the cast and crew rushed to meet the beloved “Star Wars” beast.
“Everybody was so excited to have Chewbacca on set. There was a line around the [dressing room],” he said. “We had to stop filming!”
“Glee’s” Christmas episode — which will reportedly feature at least six holiday tunes — airs on Tuesday, December 13 at 8 PM on FOX.
