NEW YORK, New York --

Nate Archibald has fallen on some hard times during his “Gossip Girl” run – but now, he’s about to get two new family members to lend him a hand.

Aaron Tveit and Holley Fain will join the “Gossip Girl” cast as Nate’s rich cousin Tripp Vanderbilt (Tveit) and his fiancee, Maureen, (Fain), a rep for The CW confirmed to Access Hollywood.

The upper-classers will appear in two upcoming episodes this season, which will show Nate attempting to reconcile with his mother’s powerful family.

Tveit’s acting credits include the film “Ghost Town,” as well as appearances in the Broadway productions of “Wicked” and “Hairspray.”

Fain has had guest spots on NBC’s “Lipstick Jungle” and “Law & Order: CI.”
