‘Gossip Girl’ Star Inks Modeling Contract

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Caption Taylor Momsen on the red carpet in LA (March 2008)High fashion rules on “Gossip Girl” – and now it’s about to become an even bigger part of star Taylor Momsen’s repertoire.

The 14-year-old Momsen, who plays Jenny Humphrey on the hit CW show, has signed a deal with IMG Models, the agency confirmed to Access Hollywood.

No further details were available on her new gig.

In April, Momsen spoke with AccessHollywood.com about the role fashion plays in “Gossip Girl” and her own personal sense of style.

“One of the best parts of filming the show is the wardrobe fittings,” she joked. “It’s so much fun to get to wear these designers.”

But as far as her own off-screen style, it’s a bit less complicated.

“I love wearing jeans and T-shirts. That’s like a uniform for me,” she revealed. “But at the same time, I love getting dressed up. I don’t follow trends with my everyday fashion. I wear what I feel like. Sometimes it doesn’t match and sometimes that’s okay.”

In inking her new deal, Momsen joins the likes of fellow IMG celebrity clients, including Drew Barrymore, Heidi Klum, Liv Tyler, Selma Blair and Hilary Duff.
