‘Gossip Girl’ Star Welcomes Baby Girl

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Matthew Settle has had plenty of practice as a TV dad, playing Dan and Jenny Humphrey’s dad, Rufus, on “Gossip Girl.”

And now, Settle will get to be a dad off-screen too.

Settle and his wife, actress Naama Nativ, welcomed the birth of their daughter, Aven Angelica Settle, on Thursday, a rep for the actor told Access Hollywood.

“This is the first child for both,” the rep said. “The baby was born at a weight of 8 lbs., 11 oz.”

Settle, 39, and Nativ, 25, were married in July 2006.
