LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

It came as no surprise that Rihanna and Chris Brown met up – and sat together, looking like a couple again — at the Grammys.

The apparently on-again couple posed for photographs, while seated together during music’s big night. In several shots that were not posed, Brown had his arm around Rihanna.

Four years ago, both artists skipped the event, after Brown’s assault on Rihanna.

On Sunday night, they appeared to hit the red carpet separately. Brown arrived first and made his way through interviews down the red carpet.

Rihanna arrived close to the closing of the red carpet, wearing $2 million in Neil Lane diamonds and rubies.

During the event, Rihanna performed her new song, “Stay,” which is suspected to be about Brown.

As for Brown, he also grabbed attention when he lost to Frank Ocean in the Best Urban Contemporary Album category. As the crowd gave Ocean a standing ovation, cameras showed Brown clapping – but he remained seated.
