This I this is a test.B#ñ this is a test. This is a test. Who is this person? Are we keeping him private? John -- that's the name. That was -- we with were talking about meeting on match.Com. You put greg louganis, greatest diver of all-time and your picture? I didn't say greatest diver of all-time. I put who I was and -- I mean, I was recognizable. Absolutely. I knew who he was. Yes. You knew 1988, oh, my gosh, he hit his head on the back of the diving board. He goes on to win the golds. You think it's a mistake when you saw his name on the website? No, I didn't. I knew it was him. You know, when I put in my profile, he was the very first match that the match.Com matched me with. I was the very first match that match.Com matched him with. Greg louganis, forget it. Then I winked at him. You know, he's so cute. They're so in love. You winked at him. You click wink and that means -- I like the first impression. Yeah. Then we started communicating back and forth. Our first date was on the ucla campus. Oh, yeah, you were telling us. Now, pick up, he was on a bridge somewhere and you laid eyes and said please be him. I was trying to get into the parking lot for the presentation. It was backed up and everything. So iv you're not supposed to text and drive. But we were stopped. You were stopped. NO ONE ELSE DOES THAT fLeUJRR @3 And so said what are you driving? I told him. I got my mini cooper convertible. So I had the top down. He goes look up. I looked up and I saw this handsome man with glasses and a bow tie standing on the bridge and I'm thinking, oh, my god I hope that's him. And it was. Was there anyone else up there? He said look up. Not in a bow tie. You both wore matching bow ties at the wedding. We did. Whose idea was that? Doug johnson, we did cinderella together, way, way, way back when. SO WE -- HE WAS LIKE OURHt ADVISER As far as the style and all. We worked with him. It was just a blast. I mean, he was so wonderful. Because he knows me so well and also that was a great opportunity for him to get -- the dance moves there, we saw a great picture -- what was the first dance? Johnny b good. I'm from new orleans. They played johnny b. Good. What do you do? You said that you're going to have to move in. Go back to work. Yes. I've been a paralegal for 32 years and I'm with the entertain firm of love and love in century city. You were behind the scenes guy in the entertainment business doing the hard work and now all of a sudden you're on shows. Are you okay with this public eye? It's okay. It's okay. I've been to -- was in palm springs doing -- YOU'VE BEEN TO SOME OF MY +çv Trials. I go to his work sometimes and he comes to my work. His work is more exciting. Distracted to have him in the courtroom if he comes to trial with you? No, not really. He's very focused on what he does. I think we share that in common. You're always pushing my out there. Go do your thing, go do your job. We were in london, we were all over london last year and then we also went to nepal. We were the first lgbt sports festival1.$ In south asia. So we were there as ambassadors to the state department, which was incredible. And it was funny because:M like the first question asked in my press conference was we know you're together. Who is the husband and who is the wife? I said what time is it? Who proposed to who? I proposed to him. You did? Where and how? It was april 8th and it was at his home in malibu. He made his mother's mu sack a, a greek dish. Sat me down on the couch and wanted to make it official. IT WAS ABOUT OUR ,qk)Uá MARK. I said yes. ]C love. The way they look at each other. It was not like we were trying to get to know each other. It's more like we recognize each other, which is so surreal. I mean, it's just like -- you said greg, you feel different already, being married. I do. How? People said, it's going to FEEL kd&ÑDIFFERENT. It's going to feel different and it -- I was -- I didn't think it would. But it did. It did. Once we took those vows and to be legally married in the state of california, I mean, it really, really made a difference. I mean, it just -- the depth was even that much more, that commitment. And it was wonderful. We had two officiants. One for me and one for johnny. Did you write your own vows? No. We didn't hear them until they werep so reflective. You have said, greg, you didn't think at one point in your life you would live to see the age of 30, right? Hiv positive, you and magic johnson the only two famous people we know about. You never thought you would see 30. To be married legally in the state of california, it must be surreal. It's so crazy. When I said I didn't think I'd see 30, it was more when I was younger because of depression and then the hiv thing came up. And then -- and I'm still here. To be married, that was the one thing my mother was concerned about. Because she said, she was afraid that I'd be alone. So now I know she's smiling down on me from heaven, both of our parents. Just I'm sure very, very happy for us that we actually found each other. That's all anybody c wants, I think, for a couple and as a parent. Everybody happy. Hasn't been married a long time. Welcome to hell. This is wonderful. You say the part -- it's so different. It's different to me too. Maybe the gravity of the moment. Hearing about the piece of paper. I felt different when I walked out of church after the service. I felt like whoa, it's on. It's just like hearing those words and it was just -- just created that depth of the relationship. I mean, it just kind of pulled everything together. When you guys argue, what do you argue about? Johnny, if you could fix one little thing about greg, just a tweak? He snores. Okay. Now I'm kind of used to it. It kind of puts me to sleep now. It's a noise machine. Roll over. Roll over. HE'S A= Qjt GUY. If you could fix one, just a tweak? It's so funny, like for me everything that I see, you know, I kind of see in myself. Like I said, the more I fall in love with him, the more I fall in love with myself because it's all of those things, those imperfections that make us human beings. It's so nice, you're saying he's perfect and he likes me. I'm pretty darn good. He's a good guy. You know, a lot of people know greg louganis the diver. But when I met him, it was this shy, polite, talented, funny man. And that's who I fell in love with. I never read his book or saw the movie. I knew who he was, of course, because we're the same age. But really to know him, it really is to love him. He's such a good guy. Congrats to both. See the mugs here, take them. Here's book for you right here. What else do we have? Tequila for both of you. It's around the corner, we've got casper with this. How great is that.
