“The Voice” is getting some Orange County cred with new coach Gwen Stefani!
The No Doubt singer and solo artist has been named as a coach for the upcoming seventh season of NBC’s Emmy Award-winning musical competition series.
“It’s true!” the 44-year-old singer wrote in an Instagram photo of her hand recreating the show’s finger “V” logo while grasping a microphone.
Gwen will join fellow new coach Pharrell Williams and returning coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton.
The new coaches will both preform on the May 5 live telecast, with Gwen singing “Hollaback Girl” and Pharrell performing “Come Get It Bae.”
Christina Aguilera, who congratulated Gwen on Twitter, is slated to return to “The Voice” for Season 8.
