And now, she’s enlisting the help of four men to share their thoughts on how to keep the “ever evolving organism " of love alive.
“We posed this question to some of the women we know and love a few months back. Now, from the male perspective comes four beautiful and candidly moving essays on the subject of relationships,” she writes in her latest GOOP newsletter.” You knocked our socks off, boys.”
Gwyneth asked television Executive Producer Bob DeLaurentis, spiritual guide and author Deepak Chopra, Hollywood publicist Stephen Huvane and Kabbalah Centre Co-director Michael Berg to answer the question, “What does it take to sustain a happy and successful relationship/marriage?”
Stephen writes about how a friend pointed out that even in the midst of a heated fight with her husband, she finds solace in the fact that her commitment to him is stronger than any disagreement.
“I remember a good friend of mine got married and a year or so into the marriage – I asked her what do you like most about being married. Her response was ‘what I love most is that both of us are not going anywhere’. When I asked what she meant by that she said even though they would find themselves sometimes embroiled in a huge argument, she loved the security in knowing that they were comfortable enough to have that argument all the while knowing that neither of them would leave,” he wrote in the current GOOP. “This truly inspired me.”
