Man Accused Of Stalking Miley Cyrus Strikes Plea Deal; Avoids Jail Time

SAVANNAH, Ga.

A 53-year-old Georgia man has pleaded guilty to resisting police outside the set of a Miley Cyrus movie after prosecutors agreed to drop charges that he tried to stalk the teen pop star.

A State Court judge sentenced Mark McLeod to 24 months probation Friday. He was also ordered to undergo a mental health assessment and stay away from Cyrus.

Miley Cyrus is thrilled to have recently filmed her cameo in “Sex and The City 2.”

The teen star plays herself in the film, turning up on the red carpet in the same dress as Kim Cattrall’s character, PR mogul Samantha Jones. The two shot their scene last week and Miley revealed she went home with a rather fancy trinket from the set – just not her stunning metallic gown.
