PROVENCE, France --

Maddox Jolie-Pitt turns seven-years-old today.

It’s the latest event in a big month for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s oldest child, who People reports is the “informal leader” of the growing family. The Jolie-Pitts added their fifth and sixth children, twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, on July 12.

Maddox, who sports spiky, blue-streaked hair in the magazine’s photo shoot, is already looking ahead to future Jolie-Pitt babies.

“This is Mad’s fourth/fifth time becoming an older bro,” Brad told People. “He’s asking us when we can have more.”

With the family enjoying post-delivery life at the Chateau Miraval near Provence, France, Maddox has become the Jolie-Pitt’s best French speaker.

“Mad speaks French better than any of us. His schooling is done 70 percent in French,” Brad said.

Maddox, who was born in Cambodia, was adopted by Angelina in 2002, before her relationship with Brad. Pitt legally adopted Maddox and Jolie’s second adoptive child, Zahara, in 2006.

The family’s grown quickly since then, but the proud parents say it’s what they’ve always wanted.

“Always said if I were to do it, I’d do it big,” Brad said.

The thought of having children even played a role in Brad and Angelina’s initial romance, Angelina admitted.

“Wanting a big family is one of the things that brought us together,” she said.
