Hayden Panettiere & NFL Beau Scotty McKnight Split

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Hayden Panettiere is reportedly single again.

According to People, the 23-year-old “Nashville” star and New York Jets wide receiver Scotty McKnight have called it quits.

According to a mag source, the actress and the athlete are still close and remain friends.

In November, Hayden stopped by Access Hollywood Live, where Billy Bush and Kit Hoover asked her if she gets hit on in Nashville by the local guys while filming her ABC series.

“Mine is pretty,” she said of Scotty, shrugging of the idea of guys throwing themselves at her.

“He’s pretty, he’s prettier than me,” she said at the time.

Hayden and the NFL player dated for more than a year. The actress previously dated Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko for more than two years. Following her split from Klitschko, she was photographed hanging out with McKnight’s Jets teammate Mark Sanchez.
