It might seem as if Hayden Panettiere burst on the scene from nowhere with her role as “Claire Bennet” in the hit NBC series “Heroes,” but in fact she's been acting for years. Amazingly, she started her acting career at just 11 months old in a Playskool commercial way back in 1990. She's also worked in two daytime dramas, “One Life to Live” and “Guiding Light.” Plus, she's acted in over a dozen feature-length films, as well as had numerous recurring roles in television series.

She is one busy young woman. When not making new fans around the world, she works hard on animal rights causes, including a "Save The Dolphins" campaign. And, oh yeah — she's a talented singer as well; her debut album is due out in 2008.
