It may be fashionable to rock that cute baby bump before you give birth, but everyone wants to get rid of the post baby weight as soon as possible. As a mommy of two I totally understand where you’re coming from. We all see celebrities lose weight faster than they master a swaddle! Before we even get to what celebs are eating, let’s remember peops that it is a celebs job to look good and they usually have an entire team getting them ready for their first post-baby photo shoot. Most of us are just hoping to look decent on our next Christmas card!
Take Beyonce - she reportedly lost a total of 57 pounds shortly after giving birth by eating a diet heavy in fish and vegetables. She admits that reducing her food intake was what made the biggest difference in her quick weight loss. She stuck to a very low-calorie diet, and stayed away from red meat. Who knew Sasha Fierce was doing it the good ole fashioned way?!
Or how about Melissa Joan Hart? She claims to have lost weight in no time after giving birth by going on Nutrisystem. Although it consists of processed and packaged meals, it can be effective because of the portion control. Again, nothing revolutionary here.
Snooki just revealed on Dr. Oz that she lost the weight by simply wanting her body back. Don’t we all? She says she stuck to a healthy eating plan and daily workouts with a trainer. In other words, she worked the G in the GTL!
So, as ho-hum as it may sound, let’s take a tip from each of these celebs. Beyonce: eat real food. Melissa: control your portions. Snooki: workout! Just like any time you need to lose weight - not just post baby - combining all of these things is going to be your best bet, and remember, if you knew the whole world was going to see your Christmas card (and you might be half naked in it), you’d probably be a bit more motivated to be consistent with your diet and exercise.
