NEW YORK, N.Y. -- “It’s sexy to look good,” exclaimed Reggie Bush!
The football sensation ought to know! He’s worked hard to score an ultra-fit body from head-to-toe.
Reggie tells Healthy Hollywood he’s proud of his Adonis-like physique. “I am not a [sex] god by far. But, I’ve feel like I’ve been doing this my whole life. I’ve been playing football since I was 9 and being in shape and working out is such a natural part of who I am. I have the results I want because I’ve been doing it my whole life.”
Healthy Hollywood caught up with very sexy and charming 28-year-old at the launch event for MISSION Athletecare’s new line of EnduraCool Instant Cooling Towels and Instant Cooling Gear at Boom Fitness in New York City. Reggie is a co-founder of MISSION AthleteCare and believes these towels are a necessary workout accessory. “Staying cool is one of the main keys to working out. You need to keep your body cool and hydrated and that’s what this product is all about. The EnduraCool towel keeps you cool; all you do is put it in water, wring it out, snap it a few times and the towel stays cool.”
Reggie’s athletic gear isn’t the only thing new thing happening in his life. He’s a new dad! Reggie and his fiancée, Lilit Avagyan, had a baby girl on May 6. Reggie is absolutely beaming, but says they’re both a bit sleep-deprived. “We’re trying to get some sleep when we can. We feed her every two hours and if she sleeps; we sleep.”
Besides getting used to his new role as dad, Reggie also has a new football home with the Detroit Lions. The running back started training with the Lions the day after his daughter was born. “I’m travelling between Detroit and home, so 3 or 4 days out of the week, she’s [Lilit] is on her own. But, her mom is there helping out and when I get home to LA, I make sure it’s Daddy 24-7.”
Yet, with all the firsts in Reggie’s life, this busy guy makes sure to take time out to work out – even off-season. “The NFL is a young man’s game, so you have to stay on top because there’s always someone on your heels. I have to stay in shape and do my best to make sure my body is able to perform at a high level. It’s good to be healthy and in shape. Hopefully that can trickle down to my kids and they’ll love to work out too.”
