Just like us regular moms, actress Sarah Wynter wants the best for her three kids.

The “Californication” star is big on an eco-friendly lifestyle for her family.

Healthy Hollywood met up with the Aussie-born Wynter in New York City at the launch event for the new website, Veritey. It’s a site that hopes to educate other aspiring eco-warriors on the best chemical-free, non-toxic products.

“There’s so much deceptive product greenwashing today. As a busy mom, I value Veritey because the site shows me trusted items I can buy and feel really good about,” she reveals to Healthy Hollywood.

Sarah, 39, also shared a few of her go-green rules, revealing, “Bring your own bag to the grocery store. I like to use my FEED bag when I hit the farmer’s market and I try to buy local whenever possible. Also, do meatless Mondays. Increase fruits, veggies, whole grains and fish and skip the meat at least once per week.”

The Veritey website is the go-to-source for all things eco-friendly. The site features the best of green in beauty products, household items, food, clothing – you name it – it’s there! “We want to help people “health up” their lives, one product at time,” reveals Veritey founder Amy Ziff to Healthy Hollywood.

Amy adds, “By making smarter purchases you can ease your chemical body burden, reduce your toxic footprint, improve your air quality, and boost your health. It can all be done one product at a time, one person at a time and one home at a time.”
