The Oscar countdown is on! Just a few days until the big night, and you can bet all the nominees (especially the females) are scrambling to get their glam game on.

After all, it’s not simply a night of gold statues; it is also one of Hollywood’s most fabulous red carpets. And, the stars want to make sure every hair is in place, their makeup is flawless, their dress is fabulous and their bodies in the best shape ever!

Nominees Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence and Naomi Watts are certainly a few of the ladies to watch Sunday night.

Celebrity make-up artist Amy Oresman, who has created looks for Cindy Crawford, Zoe Saldana and Kate Bosworth, shares with Healthy Hollywood some of her favorite beauty tips. “As talent hit the red carpet for interview after interview, it is so important to focus on their most important accessory – their smile. I recommend the REMBRANDT DEEPLY WHITE 2 hour whitening kit, which whitens up to three shades in just one two-hour treatment, so by the time your hair and make-up are completed and you’re dressed, your teeth are noticeably whiter.”

Also, Oresman suggests, “It is important to frame your mouth. If you use a color close to the color of the inside of your mouth, it really makes your smile pop and highlights a natural white smile.”

Amy teamed up with REMBRANDT to create the DIY Red Carpet Glam kit, which includes her favorite products – tried and tested on her celebrity clients. A few of her must-haves on big nights out are BAND-AID Brand Friction Block stick to reduce rubbing and blisters from shoes, Listerine PocketPacks to keep breath fresh and a dry shampoo to refresh hair without water.

As for which essentials Amy gives the stars to keep during the evening, she reveals, “Their clutches seem to get smaller and smaller each season! They all seem to have their iPhones and this really only leaves room for a couple key cosmetic items to get them through the evening – a Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color stick, which can not only be used as a lip stain but also as a cream cheek blush later in the night, a dab of toothpaste to freshen breath instead of mints and some rice blotting papers to remove extra shine.”
