LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Supermodel turned super-mom Heidi Klum has given birth to her fourth child.

Heidi and husband Seal welcomed a baby girl on Friday, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Daughter Lou Sulola Samuel was born around shortly before 8 PM on Friday, Seal announced in a statement to Access on Monday night.

“It’s difficult to imagine loving another child as much as you love your existing children,” the statement said. “Anyone who has a family will tell you this. Where will one find that extra love? If you love your existing children with all of your heart, how then can one possibly find more heart with which to love another?”

“On Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at 7:46 p.m., the answer to this question came in the form of our fourth child and second daughter,” the singer’s statement continued. “Lou Sulola Samuel was born, and from the moment she looked into both of our eyes, it was endless love at first sight. She is beautiful beyond words and we are happy that she chose us to watch her grow over the coming years.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Heidi filed a petition earlier this month to legally change her last name to Samuel, which is Seal’s last name.

His full name is Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel.

Seal announced Heidi was pregnant in April during his show at Radio City Music Hall in New York. At the time, it was reported she was three months along.

The couple has two sons together, Henry Gunther Ademola Dashtu Samuel, 3, and Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel, 2.

Seal is also the adoptive father of Helene “Leni” Klum, whose father is Heidi’s ex, Flavio Briatore. Flavio and Heidi split in December 2003.

The singer and the “Project Runway” host began dating in 2004, while Heidi was pregnant with Leni.

They tied the knot on May 10, 2005 on a beach in Mexico.
