As Los Angeles braces for “Carmageddon” – the closure of a major portion of the 405 freeway over the weekend – some of Hollywood’s biggest stars are preparing for the blockbuster-sized gridlock that could descend on The Southland!

“Stay home, don’t go outside, don’t go looking for trouble,” Roseanne Barr told Access Hollywood.

Justin Bieber will be avoiding the mess, telling Access, “I’m not gonna be here when that happens.”

As for Sharon and Ozzy Osborne, they plan on hiding out at friend’s home with a good flick.

“My hubby and I are going to stay right in town,” Sharon told Access. “We’re going to a friend’s home on Saturday to watch a movie.”

Tennis star Maria Sharapova told Access at the ESPY Awards last weekend, “I’m staying away. I’m staying away!”

Racing beauty also offered up some sage “Carmageddon” advice for LA residents.

“Explore your neighborhood,” she said. “Don’t get in the car!”

“Carmageddon” is also a hot trending topic on Twitter with many stars using it as opportunity to have a laugh.

“Maybe the old dude who predicted end of days meant CARMAGEDDON! And for that I say bravo old crazy guy!,” Christina Applegate wrote.

“29 hours till #Carmageddon. How are YOU preparing? I’m using trusty zombie apocalypse plan. Works for me,” Nathan Fillion Tweeted on Thursday.

“My #Carmageddon gear: Jerky? Check! Mayo? Check! Bad News Bears DVDs? Check! Cake&IceCream? Check! Oh, Wife&Kids? Check! I guess I’m good!!!” actor Greg Grunberg wrote.

“Los Angeles is already carmageddon… I’m frightened,” “Glee” star Mark Salling wrote.

As for Paris Hilton, it appears that Carmageddon is even more powerful than her love of clubbing.

“Hey LA, who’s scared of Carmageddon? I’m not leaving my house to drive anywhere this weekend. Traffic is going to be #bRutal!” Paris Tweeted.
