LARGO, Fla. --
If all goes well, Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Bollea, will be released from jail on October 21 – serving only 166 days of his 240-day sentence, Sgt. Jim Bordner of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office tells Access Hollywood.
Nick is in jail after pleading no contest to felony reckless driving, which led to a crash that left his friend, John Graziano, paralyzed.
According to Bordner, Nick has shaved time off of his sentence thanks to “good time,” or days given for staying out of trouble, making his bed, and showing up for his job at the jail, as well as “gain time,” which earns five days of credit for every 30 days spent in county jail.
Bordner says that Nick’s job is in the property room, where inmates turn in their personal belongings when they arrive to jail. He added that the Hogans have been there for Nick, noting that he believes they still visit three times a week, one hour a day.
Nick’s parents, wrestler Hulk Hogan and his estranged wife Linda, remain locked in divorce proceedings.
