Jack Black has set a meaty goal for himself in 2011.
The 41-year-old star, who braved heavy rain in Los Angeles on Saturday to attend the premiere of his new film, “Gulliver’s Travels,” revealed he hopes to cast a slimmer shadow in the upcoming year.
“I’m gonna drop fitty,” Jack told Access Hollywood, when asked about his New Year’s resolutions.
“Fitty? [Like] Fifty Cent?” Access asked the comedian.
“No! I’m gonna drop fitty L.B.s,” Jack said. “How many quarter-pounders with cheeses is that?
“I’m gonna drop 200 quarter-pounder with cheeses!” Jack laughed.
The former “Kung Fu Panda” star also dished on his future regime for shedding the extra weight – exercise and a very specific diet.
“Push-ups, sit-ups, and a strict diet of…. raisins,” Jack told Access, jokingly. “That’s my plan.”
As for why the funnyman attended the premiere of the family movie without his two children, Jack said he’s attempting to keep his star status hidden for as long as possible.
“I didn’t bring my babies because they don’t know I’m famous yet,” Jack told Access, of his sons Sammy, 4, and Thomas, 2. “I’m trying to keep it well-hid. They’re like, ‘Whatever. Daddy’s Daddy.’ They think I’m a salesman.”
Catch Jack, along with Emily Blunt and Jason Segel, in “Gulliver’s Travels” when it hits theaters on Christmas day.
