LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Jamie-Lynn Sigler is currently playing herself on HBO’s “Entourage,” but the former “Sopranos” star is reportedly headed to back to character acting in the next season of ABC’s “Ugly Betty.”
According to Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello, Jamie-Lynn will join the cast of the ABC comedy this fall. She is slated to play Natalie, MODE honcho Daniel Meade’s sexy and spiritual new assistant.
Natalie will take over for Betty (America Ferrera), who landed a new job as a features editor in the show’s finale last May.
Jamie-Lynn will reportedly make her “Ugly Betty” debut on the show’s second episode of the new fall season in October. The comedy returns to ABC on October 9 with a two-hour premiere episode.
