UNCASVILLE, Conn. --

Janet Jackson has canceled her Saturday night tour date at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn., a Live Nation rep confirmed to Access Hollywood.

“Janet Jackson’s anticipated return to her Rock Witchu tour tomorrow (10/11) in Uncasville, CT, has been postponed due to doctor’s orders,” the rep said in a statement, adding that tickets would be honored for a rescheduled date. The rep said in the statement that Janet’s tour would resume on Oct. 13, in Verona, NY.

On Thursday, a Live Nation spokesperson told Access that the Uncasville performance would be Janet’s comeback after a string of canceled dates due to an undisclosed illness.

“Janet, who has been under her doctor’s care and recuperating over the last week, is excited about getting back on the road and again being able to share with her fans what she feels is one of her best stage shows ever,” Live Nation previously told Access in a statement.

Janet has canceled several dates on her “Rock Witchu” tour, including shows in Montreal, Boston, Philadelphia and Greensboro, North Carolina after she fell ill and was rushed to hospital during a pre-concert sound check on Monday, Sept. 29, in Montreal.
