Jared Leto may be a rock star, but his Thirty Seconds to Mars tour bus is a place of calm.
“When you’re on tour, you learn quickly how to take care of yourself,” Jared told Access Hollywood’s Liz Hernandez on Tuesday, as he announced the Carnivores Tour, featuring Jared’s band and Linkin Park.
“Our tour bus is pretty quiet, pretty simple, filled with some vegan butter and almond milk,” he added. “So it’s not the sex, drugs, rock ‘n’ roll.”
But, Jared – who can now also boast an Oscar win on his resume for his Best Supporting Role in “Dallas Buyers Club” — did promise his shows won’t have such a subdued flavor.
“I assure you one thing — the shows are gonna be something not to forget,” he said. “They’re gonna be wonderful. I mean, this is an opportunity like we’ve never had before. We’re really proud to be part of it.”
The Carnivores Tour, also featuring special guest act AFI, kicks off August 8 in West Palm Beach, Fla. Tickets for the shows go on sale on Friday.
