LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Jenni Rivera’s daughters, Chiquis and Jacqie, are opening up about the death of their singer/actress mother and say a spinoff of “I Love Jenni” is a possibility.

Chiquis and Jacqie stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Friday, where they fondly remembered their late mother, who died in a plane crash in December.

“It was a hard decision [to continue on with the show], but it was something we knew that we had to do. We started it and we needed to finish it, that is something our mom taught us, to never quit,” Chiquis told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover.

The late star will appear on the first six episodes of Season 3 of the reality series.

“We took about a month [off after her death], to gather up and endure the pain a little,” Chiquis explained.

Seeing their mother on TV is painful for Chiquis and Jacqie.

“It’s very difficult for me to hear her voice,” Chiquis said. “I miss everything, but mainly her hug, her scent.”

Jacqie, who is married and has a child of her own, said she misses when her mother would text her how she was so great at spoiling her baby.

Jenni’s daughters explained to Billy and Kit that they prefer to say their mom “graduated” instead of died.

But will Season 3 of “I Love Jenni” be the end of the popular reality series?

“This is the third and final season, but this isn’t the last you’ll see of her children. There’s a lot that we want to show the world… to become the young ladies that we’re meant to become,” Chiquis revealed.

Adding, “Maybe a spinoff, possibly.

And like their talented mother, Chiquis and Jacquie appear to be following in her footsteps.

“I love to sing,” Jacqie said, explaining that Chiquis might have a future in film or TV. “She’s the actress.”

The late star also had a sitcom in development with ABC before her death, but her daughters explained the show will not be moving forward.

“It’s not a sitcom without my mama, right?” Chiquis said, but added there might be other options, “[Maybe] a movie, something… we’ll see.”

“I Love Jenni” airs Sundays at 9/8c on Mun2.
