Jennie Garth & Jason Priestley's '90210' Reunion!
We loved watching their onscreen romance bloom on the original “Beverly Hills, 90210,” and on Wednesday, Jennie Garth and Jason Priestley reunited on the set of Access Hollywood Live to dish on their Peach Pit glory days.
“We had a great time… absolutely,” Jennie told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Wednesday’s show, of the 10 years she spent portraying Kelly Taylor on Aaron Spelling’s mega-hit. “That’s where I went to school. That’s where I grew up. Not all of my life lessons were something I need to carry around with me now, but for the most part, we had a great time.”
Jennie — now married to “The Twilight Saga’s” Peter Facinelli and a mother of three — revealed she keeps in touch with her “90210” buddies, and if she needs anything, they’re only a phone call away.
“It’s just an easy relationship,” Jennie said. “I know that if I ever need anything I can call Jason or Luke [Perry], or anybody.”
Jason – still strikingly handsome at 41 years old – who happened to be visiting Access Hollywood Live on Wednesday as well, joined his former TV flame on our set for a reunion.
“How close are your offspring?” Kit asked Jennie and Jason.
“We haven’t been hanging out very much,” Jennie said. “I have three kids — and you know what life is like! And we’re busy.”
“Kids eat up all your time,” Jason agreed.
“But when we do see each other, it’s just like old times,” Jennie said with a smile.
Jason has a new gig playing sleazy car salesman Richard “Fitz” Fitzpatrick on “Call Me Fitz” – a dark comedy series airing on DirecTV’s 101 and he says is “definitely not for the kids.”
“Fitz is a lot of fun,” he told Billy and Kit with a laugh. “It’s booze, blow, broads – it’s perfect. It’s, you know, Charlie Sheen on a Wednesday, really!”
While Jason said he loves getting down and dirty for the callous character, what he adores most is being a daddy.
“Fatherhood agrees with me,” he told Billy and Kit. “I love being a parent, I love my kids.
“They’re the greatest challenge and they’re the greatest joy I’ve ever had in my life,” he continued. “So it’s a lot of fun.”
“Call Me Fitz” premieres Thursday at 9 PM on DirecTV’s The 101 Network.
