Jennifer Aniston Tops Pet-Friendly Poll

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Jennifer Aniston was voted the most trustworthy possible pet-sitter in a poll on AOL’s Paw Nation.

The “Marley & Me” star won 70% of the vote from animal lovers, who also voted on a number of categories including favorite celebrity animal. (Lassie, narrowly beating out Snoopy)

The most mourned celebrity pet was Mickey Rourke’s beloved chihuahua, Loki, who “The Wrestler” star pay tribute to with a necklace he wore to numerous red carpets during award season. Mickey ran second to Jennifer in the trustworthy pet-sitter vote.

Fans’ favorite celebrity pet was Amanda Byne’s dog Gizmo — beating Paris Hilton and Britney Spears’ dogs — who was voted would “most like to pet sit” by 54% of voters.

The late Leona Helmsley was voted “Craziest Pet Owner” thanks to willing her dog, Trouble, a $12 million trust fund.

And new presidential pooch Bo came in third to predecessors Socks the cat and Millie the dog as favorite White House pet. Socks and Millie tied with 29% of the vote.
